The Twelfth of March

T U E S D A Y ,  M A R C H  1 2

My bedroom painted in beautiful afternoon colors. Was painted. A couple hours ago.

I'm sorry in advance for these weird colors of today's pictures, even though my bedroom was lit so delightfully, I must have picked this strange time of sun setting and my photos turned out quite odd this time..
So yup, as you may have guessed, we're having sunny days here and that puts me in an exceptionally good mood as I've written a while ago - how sunshine affects my days. The only (and the biggest) downside is that sadly, the 4th month of winter is running. It's extremely cold (more than 10 degrees below the zero, crazy right?!) outside and the streets are full of snow and winter boots are kinda ruining my outfits ya know. I keep on wearing pastels and pastels only and I find it super weird putting these boots on everyday. (None of my outfit pictures here has them, so click this.) I can't wait to change these boots into oxfords or wedges or something and my parka into a trench coat. It literally breaks my heart seeing blogger's spring wishlists full of the nicest and lightest clothes... Can't cope with winter anymore!!

My new mint jeans I got last weekend makes me happy and my whole outfit kinda brightened the day. Alrighty, the day needs no brightening as the sun is literally blinding.

BELATED MANI MONDAY

I made this à la Cath Kidston mani for the second time now and I'm kinda loving it! In fact, I didn't even plan CK mani for this week, this was supposed to be a completely different nail art, but I messed it up last Sunday and wasn't up for a second attempt. So I settled to this design mostly because it's fun to do, well I really like the process. Does it call for a tutorial? *shrugs* who knows!

I know it's been a week now since I updated the blog, but what keeps me doing this is basically the ideas or some DIYs and recipes. I have a lot whirling in my mind and there's this one kinda sorta maybe DIY that Ill be sharing this week, I still need to get some stuff for that, but it is certainly coming up this week.
Meanwhile, I'll be blogging my days like I just did, lets just hope it interests and entertains (?) you in some kind of way.

A Shelf In Detail

A SHELF IN DETAIL

Hi, I'm postponing long text posts that awaits me in the drafts section, but they're going to be helpful for beginners on blogspot/blogging in general, so keep tuned you guys! As for tonight's post, there won't be much words used. I only have this pile of photos that I took the other day of the shelf in my bedroom. I'd say that's my favorite shelf, but that's actually the only this kind of shelf in a room..It's loaded with lovely stuff of mine so let's have a look.

Next to my Keep Calm picture there's this little jar (out of a burnt candle) that I filled with heart-shaped candy. I don't really like the taste (they're not bad, just not my taste!) but come on that looks so pretty for a display, doesn't it?

Then there's a lavender scent sticks imprisoned in a birdcage (from Tiimari) and a picture of me on a bike. You don't have the slightest idea how I miss bike rides and how much I love them in the Summer. One of the top reasons I long for a warm season...

Now this is the part of this shelf I love the most, a polka-dotted part of it and my 2013 Memories/Good Things jar!

Wish it was fuller though!

Hope you had a lovely time on my shelf tour and if anyone wishes so - I'm looking forward to showing more of my bedroom some time soon again!

Yesterday I took an advantage of the sun creeping through my windows. Its absence has been unbearable, always so dull and gloomy. I can't stand it when my bedroom's all louring in such grey hues, all tinted in shadows. Blue skies and sunshine always brighten up my day in all ways possible. The level of my oh so poor productivity goes up vastly. So I grab the camera straightaway before the sun vanishes away (mon dieu I'm a freakin' poet!). I simply love it when in this dreary season the sun decides to grace us with its presence occasionally.

Here are the pictures I took the moment my bedroom was all sunlit.

An awkward first attempt of making a 3D typography. I'll get better soon.

How does sun affect your days? Are they any different at all? Or it's sunny all the time where you live (if so I'm really jealous)? Please do tell me in the comments & please do make the best of your days no matter how light or dark they are. Or at least that's what I'll be trying to achieve.
