SUMMER WISHLIST

hello mon cher reader. Tonight I'm sharing my Summer wishlist / shoplist. I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting a bunch of other things, but I can always do a part deux. I kind of foresee this Summer as a laid-back one in terms of clothing. In terms of reality, it might be a pretty stressful season with the summer job hunt and uni coming up this Fall. If I'll be stressed and depressed, why be poorly dressed on top of that?

sexy lace

I want  loose and droopy lace nicely hanging on my shoulders this season. Even though it's oversized and you might be feeling like you just loosely wrapped a curtain around your body, I definitely see some sexiness in it. Skater lace dresses and peplum tops are so flirty in my opinion.

definitely not me! Or is it just that I'm an amateur at being fashion-forward... Anyways, the birkenstock sandal trend made me cave in so quick and I won't rest till I have a pair!

orange is the new black
I'm excited about the orange lip trend just as much as I am about the new season of the one and only "Orange Is The New Black" (which is in just a few days!) That translates into me being freakishly in love with the look of this lippy! I shall buy myself a lipstick and see if I can pull it off, feeling pretty positive about it. Might go for more of a muted orange than the vibrant pop of color though!

the IT bikini

like the red backs of the louboutins, the black lining of Triangl speaks volumes. The hype is real, you guys. Everyone wants Triangl. What do you think though? Has it become overrated or are you crazy about it too? I know I am! And oh mon dieu, they made their Lucy undies into bikinis now! And it's the prettiest bikini my eyes has seen.



espadrilles
ah, the easy espadrilles. I practically spent the whole last Summer in those. Comfiest. Thing. Ever. In all honesty, I'm a bit surprised these simple slip-ons made their way into my heart so easily since I love wearing high heeled beauties which make me feel like I can conquer the world. But then Summer comes and it's like "okay, take five, girl".

a black leather jacket

now that's such a staple in every girl's wardrobe and it's almost embarrassing I don't own one. You can wear it all year around and give an instant edge to your outfit. Also I just got myself a gorgeous dress which I can't wait to wear paired with a soon-to-be-bought black leather jacket. Yup, this how it usually works, one purchase calls for another, but hey that's life.

And that's about it. Well I also need to stock up on striped tops, but I'm not gonna go into detail since I made myself pretty clear about the stripes in the last couple of posts. And I already bought my desired nail polish color for the season which is an in-between of pink and purple. I'm gonna do a blog post about it since the brand of the nail polish really surprised me and that topic can't go untouched here on Très Queentastic.

LUST LIST: Spring

hello mon cher reader! I'll be sharing some thangs I've been lusting over for quite a while, even managed to get my hands on some of them already. As you can see, my current wishlist for Spring consists of more of a transitional pieces rather than light flowy and pastel ones. I have jackets and boots here, I decided to leave dresses and skirts for mid-Spring and will share those later.

DENIM 5EVER. I've fallen in love with denim throughout the winter and have no intention of letting it go. What I still need in my wardrobe is a fine pair of distressed boyfriend jeans (I'll probably just hit the thrift shop). Rolled up they work perfectly with almost everything, both ankle booties and pumps. Oh and spot the denim jacket in the top left corner there! This one's already coming my way as I ordered it from sheinside.com

CHUNKY BOOTS. I haven't been on the lookout for any new shoes and honestly have no idea what they have in stores here this season, but I've been leaning towards chunky chelsea boot. And that's quite unlike me, but gurl these are rad. And I'm currently craving change and coming out of my safe pastelly zone??

GOLD, BOTH DELICATE AND CHUNKY. Tiny and delicate 'round ma fingers, big 'n bold 'round ma neck. Don't have to worry about these, got them off ebay!

FUTURE SO BRIGHT GOTTA WEAR SHADES. This fun pair of sunnies is coming my way too (try 'pink arrow sunglasses' on ebay). I don't plan on overly bursting with color this Spring, so this hot pink will be a gorgeous pop of color in my looks. 

MATTE NO MORE! To honor the fresh and sunny season, I decided to go for a dewy looking face. I used to have problems controlling shine on my face, but it's been under control lately, so I've been eyeing this illuminating primer by L'Oreal. Heard good things about it too!

CLAWS WISHLIST: I'm quite specific for this season in terms of nail polishes. I need to find a perfect lavender and pastel yellow. Also, this exact polish from L'Oreal Privee Collection in J'Lo's shade. I just hope they're not sold out as they've been in stores for quite some time now...

Last, but not least -  a piece I still haven't given much thought to - leather jacket. I honestly don't have much to say about this till I try it on. They're so cool, I'm just not sure whether moi can rock it.

hello dear reader!

I'm doing this quick pink blog entry only to separate the beauty posts because I don't want to have two make-up posts in a row here, haha! Right after this goes up, I'm putting up another, which should be considered the main post of the day. Ah this is confusing. Whatever just keep on reading will ya.

A wishlist/shoplist from the top of my head

♥ Essence shimmer pearls from its "Me & My Ice Cream" limited edition. I was at the drugstore the other day and the colors of this collection totally blew me away. Ah the pastels. They have nail polishes, eye shadows, lip balms and blushes in the the softest shades. The quality is what concerns me though. But quality or not, I'm so getting these shimmer pearls. Purely the most beautiful piece of makeup I've ever seen hehe.

♥ Real Techniques powder brush. Why am I still sat here without a single Real Techniques brush?!

♥ Rings! Believe it not, I've just recently bought my first ring ever. I've never used to wear rings, but I really want to now. The one that I got looks a bit too plain worn on its own, so I need to get some more to keep its company. On a lookout for some above-the-knuckle rings as well. They are too darn adorable.

♥ Pink satchel (ebay). I need need need this bag. It was love at first sight you guys. It's pink, it has a bow and a scalloped edge *grabby hands*.

Pale Blue

earrings, nail polish, tee, jumper

My latest whim in the style area and for the wardrobe of Summer 2013 is this pale tone of blue. A very neutral and almost white. The color is so fresh and the freshness is what Summer lacks where I live. It's either ew and rainy or heats up so very much that it's insufferable to stay outside. I want to bring some freshness in my outfits at least. 

In the other news of Summer 2013, I will probably be heading somewhere south which is beyond exciting! To spend a week or two doing nothing but lying by the beach or a pool. I need this. I'm also turning 18 in July and so is my best friend (our birthdays are separated by 2 days) and we will probably make Paris happen. Our biggest dream since the day 1. So much is happening this Summer, let's just hope it will happen!
